The tale of the Giant Puffball


Once upon a time there was a Giant Puffball... and we found it. 

Then we picked it... 

Brought it home... 


Cut it open... 


Fried it up... 


And ate it. 

 It was delicious. 

 And we all lived happily ever after.

 The end.

These puffballs have been huge all over our area this year. I have never dared eat one....mostly because I see them growing in the area where our septic tank runouts are! Icck!
I am suspecting that these puffballs turn into those dustballs we find in the pastures (you know, with the tough outer shell and when you step on them the dust all puffs out? Am I right?)
Anyway...glad you survived it ;)
