This morning it was Zero Fahrenheit, -20 C again, by late afternoon it did warm up some.
I made a batch of sweet potato cookies for the goats, and Izzie, for their Birthday's. I ran out of cookies for everyone during the cookie monster attack (Beatrice, AKA cookie monster) so I'll have to make another batch tomorrow for the others.
Cookies ready to go
Biscuit spots me with the cookies
Quick! She has cookies!
No cute pictures of Max, he got his Birthday bone and took off
It tastes pretty good! Flavious got one too
Izzie not yet aware there are cookies...
cookies you say?
Beatrice stealing the first one
Sammy testing them out... as good as pumpkin cookies? hmmm
Bea trying to steal Sammies cookie! Told you she was the cookie monster
In goes another one...
It's good too...
The Birthday boy!
Bean realizes there are cookies and she wants one too
Izzie loves cookies.....
Yep, I like these as good as the pumpkin cookies...
Sammy says "I know mom had left the cookie bag over here somewhere..."
They can't possibly be all gone!
What is this?
A closeup of the cookie monsters nose! As she jumps on me looking for more cookies
A one year old Izzie, growing well, and still walking well! A good start to the New Year. For newer blog readers, Izzie has polydactyly, so she has three toes instead of a normal hoof, and her legs are a little bowed as you can see. The farmer didn't have much hope for her being able to stand properly, so we took her, and she's doing great so far! We got her as a week old last Feb.
Izzie thinks mooing at the barn door will make it open so she can go inside to bed...
This little guy was hanging around, with his mama near by. His mama is Goofy, my old doe. She's been coming in the winter for 5 years now. He looks just like her!
Back in the house Banana is hiding
And Knik is ready for bed.
The little Spike buck I showed a picture of in my last post dropped his little antler with the fork in the yard, Jim found it today :) I'll post a picture of it tomorrow.
