First big spring hike

Now that most of the snow is finally gone (but still not all!) we were able to get out and again search for Torn Ears antlers. We walked for about 3 hours. We didn't leave until late, so next time we'll leave earlier allowing us more time before it gets dark. No luck finding his antlers anywhere. But we haven't given up yet. Some of our herd is still hanging around the house which is unusual this time of year. They are hungry and worn down from the coyotes and wolves. We were just told that there were seven deer out on the lake alone dead, all fresh. It's been a hard winter on everyone.
